I loved the flashbacks of them as children, I loved the history between them and how well they knew each other, I loved how long they tried to make things work until things fell apart completely. I'd love something canon divergent where their engagement didn't fall apart (what would happen if they'd gotten married before relations soured?) or maybe something that goes canon divergent around her father's death when their relationship completely broke down? Or just something bittersweet and canon compliant would also be nice. If you just want to write established relationship, you can handwave the lead up to if you want. Maybe something that deals with Su Mengzhen's chronic illness?

Feel free to include whichever other characters you like, but I particularly like Di Feijing and his sibling relationship with Lei Chun. And you don't have to ignore the Lei Chun/Bai Choufei plot from canon if it's relevant to the story you want to tell.

*Lei Chun's devotion to her father is such a big part of her character that even tho they snuck around in canon I can't imagine them getting married in defiance of her father. If his death happened a different way than in canon tho, I can see them marrying after his death with the approval of Di Feijing

I'm always down for the angst of that separation, but I'm also very interested in a fix-it fic. Maybe Wang Xiaoyu doesn't get taken back to the real world, or maybe she gets back somehow!

For the different cultures tag, I feel like you have several playing a role, with some overlap. 1) modern Chinese traditions and whatever else WXY might want 2) fantasy historical Chinese traditions 3) dragon traditions. I figure XTY hasn't been back with his family for long, so idk how much he would be attached to these traditions, but he might want to do them for his mother or because of outside pressure.

I thought of this ship for Mind the Gap Flash bc I was thinking about what younger characters might be interesting to pair with Yue Qingyuan... I've been waiting for Just Married to request it again for all the arranged marriage, etc, tags! You can get the general vibes I'm interested in from the requested tags, but I'm open to a lot of different interpretations of this kind of set up! Sex or no sex, love or just marriage, I just want to see your take!

Maybe some kind of arranged marriage situation between Cang Qiong and Huan Hua? Maybe the Old Palace Master wanted Gongyi Xiao out of the way to set his daughter up with Luo Binghe and decided to get something out of it? I don't really care if this is a PIDW or SVSSS setting, whichever works best for your story.

Also might be interesting to play with different expectations... Huan Hua seems to have family inheritance, while Cang Qiong is passed down to unrelated disciples. Yue Qingyuan doesn't need a husband or an heir, so why would he agree to a marriage? What does he want out of this? What does Gongyi Xiao *think* he wants out of this?

Juri is a lesbian, and none of these characters are heterosexual. I couldn’t care less how you classify their sexualities beyond that (for example, I’m perfectly fine with either lesbian or bisexual Utena. I do have a preference for gay Saionji, but I’m not picky).
Fandom Likes:
I enjoy things that lean into the dark, messy nature of a lot of the relationships in the show. In fact, I would prefer not to have something overly fluffy, or if you want to go there, at least give me some smut 🙂 I am 100% ok with pure smut/PWP in this fandom.
I'm okay with a bit more fluff with Touga/Saionji as long as it doesn't like, pretend they're wonderful people or anything. But I love those two dirtbags riding into the sunset together <3 Particularly enjoy prompts that focus on accidental/fake marriage turned real, friends to lovers.
I like explorations of anyone's sexuality, as long as it's not in a didactic way or one that focuses overmuch on specific labels. But stuff where they might have to deal with attraction they didn't anticipate, wonder what this means about them, how it relates to hang-ups they have about gender... great stuff and the sort of thing that Utena is all about, really!
With Touga/Miki: I like some of the interpretations of Miki's episodes, for instance, that explore the idea of him having homoerotic feelings for Touga he doesn't know what to do with. I think Touga might take advantage of this to manipulate Miki at first, but I would prefer if their story doesn't end with a totally tragic situation for Miki - would prefer if Touga starts to feel something in return. (Also, don't really want non-con here.) I think marriage stuff would lead to lots of potential scenarios! Especially if these two end up accidentally married in some way.
The Black Rose Arc is my favorite arc of the series, so anything that focuses on that is GREAT.
Obviously the stuff that I put in “general likes” (in the letter) applies here, but in this fandom I particularly like introspection/character study, and soulmate AUs that lean into the messy, coercive nature of having universe-assigned soulmates. Generally, with this set of ships, I prefer happy endings and the characters eventually finding out that they're in love, even if they aren't to start. But I really like stuff that leans into arranged marriages and political marriages in FE3H. Especially love arranged/fake/political marriages that start out with the characters unaware of their feelings but grow into something more! I particularly like an enemies-to-friends-to-lovers set up with Ferdibert, and more straightforward friends-to-lovers with the others. I love with Dorothea/Manuela stuff that plays on some confusion over sexuality with Manuela (with her coming to realize her bisexuality through her interest in Dorothea), and I love Dimitri/Dedue that goes into cultural differences and how Dimitri and Dedue navigate Dedue's intense loyalty turning out to be motivated by mutual love and attraction. Dorothea/Ingrid is great when it plays on Ingrid's tension with her family and them trying to force her into a marriage she doesn't want. But I'm eager with any of these to see where you go with them!

I don't "ship" these in the traditional sense. I like them because of the potential for things to get MESSY. I don't want either of them as a traditional romance.
With Kira/Winn, I love the idea of a toxic, codependent sort of relationship, of Kira having unwanted attraction to Winn that is tied up in her complicated relationship with her religion, Winn taking advantage of her. Alternately, Kira thinking by sleeping with Winn she might be getting one over on her, because Winn is weirdly tied up in her even as late as season 7 when she's involved with the pah-wraiths, going to her for religious advice. Regardless, looking for a dump-truck of religious guilt mixed in with being hot for powerful older women :)
With Disko, I am mostly into the total mess of sexual attraction - acted-on or otherwise - between these two, and think marriage tropes are a great way to turn up the drama. I tend to like Disko one of three ways, in order of preference: mutual sexual attraction, but Dukat also has romantic feelings for Sisko; sexual and romantic attraction that's wholly one-sided on Dukat's part; and mutual sexual attraction, but it's much stronger for Dukat. The main thing is that Dukat genuinely wants Sisko, perhaps while kidding himself that it's purely to manipulate him - whereas Sisko definitely DOES not want Dukat for more than maybe a shag, but might be open to seeing how he can play this to his advantage.

I love this movie so much; both of the mains' performances are so beautiful and they do such a great job of building such a fascinating relationship between these two men that is intertwined with their diplomatic dreams and failures.
I'd really love a version of this where the subtext between the two of them becomes text! (It may as well be text, with some of the moments between them...) Write their private moments at night in-between meetings, write them kissing right after that final shot, write a way for them to be together? I'm fine with stuff that deviates from the historical reality of what happened to them if it allows for more romance. I'm also totally fine with if you want to get NSFW; Faisal/Lawrence are the one ship where I really like BDSM, including lifestyle BDSM, so long as it's Dom Faisal/sub Lawrence.
Despite being really interested in the period, I'm open to AUs here, including modern AUs, AUs in a more accepting (less homophobic, for instance) version of the time period, even an AU where they somehow succeed at getting what Faisal wants from the Paris Peace Conference? (I continue to think that "what if the UK and France didn't continue to insist on colonialism but instead gave more of the non-Western nations what they wanted" is one of the best unrealized alternate-history scenarios, so if you can make that happen, go ahead.)
Just Married-specific: If you want to make it a modern AU, obviously, the sky is a lot more the limit here with what you can do - but if you set it in the time period, come up with particular less-homophobia-AU scenarios that would allow them to be together as a couple, OR find a way for them to be together with in the mores of that time - e.g. able to live together alongside "cover" marriages with women, or where one (ideally Lawrence) pretends to be female to marry Faisal.

I'm really into stuff that embraces the fraught history between these two, and the fact that they serve different worlds and Kira's (at least initial) discomfort with being into a Cardassian, especially Ziyal's killer. I'd like if it explored how that attraction and even eventual love is complicated by all that. Especially situations where Kira is a Bajoran politician and Damar a Cardassian politician after the war (if you go with a Damar-lives situation); there are a lot of fun ways you can play this, such as their relationship being politically unwise, them meeting up in secret at meetings/summits or whatever, or even a marriage alliance between the two of them to show their worlds are mending things? Daddy Kink: I'm definitely good with Val calling Vox "papi/papito" and himself "daddy". Whether Vox is into it or annoyed is up to you. Either way is good!

Futanari: Give Valentino whatever genitals you want. And Vox being able to change out his parts for whatever (though likely requiring some convincing, depending on the time and his current mindset) is also amazing.

Genderbending: Either or both being women? Yes. As long as they are still both awful to everyone outside of the Vees, give it to me.

Infidelity: Technically I don't see Valentino cheating on Vox, because Valentino wouldn't have said anything about being monogamous. But Vox feeling like he's being cheated on, despite knowing better, is something I'm super down for exploring. Trans Headcanons: I usually prefer them both going by he/him, but if you want to make one or both transition into or from women or nonbinary? Also good. Val particularly being good with fluidity and taking it is stride is excellent. I imagine Vox would have more hangups with it.

Non-Con/Dub-Con: I prefer dub-con to non-con, but non-con is fine in a “no no yes” way.

There's a tag for male relative of bride taking her place in disguise and I should have nominated the reverse. Lyanna posing as Brandon's younger brother taking his place in the wedding to marry Cat instead of Ned? Or Brienne taking her liege lord's place with Margaery, maybe to protect her after he dies? I also think it would be interesting to see any of the Cersei options, something where her marriage was arranged to be with someone else.
