I'm the X-Men nominator. I've re-nominated under comics and just wanted to clarify that to my knowledge, only the movies have the original versus alternate timeline distinction, the comics don't really have a divide like that.

Got it, thank you for clarifying! I'll approve under Marvel (Comics). We've had nominations for both Marvel (Comics) and Marvel 616 before (e.g. https://archiveofourown.org/tag_sets/4135).

Glancing at the past tagset you linked, it actually looks like it has Marvel (Comics), Marvel 616, and X-Men (Comicverse), but I think I'm equally fine with it in any of the above.

Sorry, my mistake! We do usually separate out X-Men from the rest of the comics and I'll update the fandom to X-Men (Comicverse). Thanks for catching.

For Star Wars, can the AMT be used for cross-media characters like one from the Prequels with someone from the Originals, or should those be classified as crossovers?

Hullo! Just to let you know that there's some duplication with North and South - some nominations are repeated under "North and South - Elizabeth Gaskell" and "North and South - Elizabeth Gaskell|UK TV".

As the nominator for the first one of those, I specifically wanted to nominate the characters in the book (rather than the TV series). I'd be open to a merger under the combined "Elizabeth Gaskell|UK TV" tag but not one where the book wasn't featured. I'd be happy to hear the thoughts of the mod and other nominator on this one!

Thanks for the heads up! I'll open this for discussion in the next query post (which should go up within a day or so). To my understanding the TV show is a close adaptation, so if you're OK with your book-only nominations going under the Elizabeth Gaskell|UK TV tag, I'll do that if the other nominator has no objections.

Hope this is the place to put this, but just wanted to note that the Buffy the Vampire Slayer ship "Tara Maclay/Willow Rosenberg" got nominated twice (one had disambiguated as BTVS and one as BTVS TV).
