You may nominate up to 7 fandoms, 7 relationships per fandom, and 10 freeform tags. Mods will approve nominations throughout the time range, and clarification questions will be posted to this community.

For relationship tags, please nominate in the format ‘Character A/Character B’ with the / symbol between the character names. You may nominate more than two characters in a relationship.

Freeform tags are for trope or situation matching. Examples include: arranged marriage, marriage of convenience, accidentally married, sedoretu, etc. Feel free to get creative but please aim for clarity so someone unfamiliar with your request would understand your meaning. For example, “soulbond marriage” is ambiguous, “marriage with forced soulbonding” is clearer.

Please nominate only marriage tropes and situations! Freeforms unrelated to marriage will be rejected.

Original Works are welcome. Please nominate under the Original Work fandom tag. If you have specific genders in mind, include those in your nomination. Example: “Female Soldier/Male Assassin.”

Crossovers are welcome. Please nominate crossover relationships under the Crossover Fandom tag. List the character name followed by their canon. Example: “Tony Stark (MCU)/Bruce Wayne (DCU).” Crossover nominations that do not follow this format may be rejected.

How do you want to handle spoiler-y Endgame noms? Um, and fair warning that this comment/question contains spoilers. Are we doing it the same as MCU Exchange, but without the group tag? For instance, if I want to nominate 2012!Tony Stark/2023!Tony Stark, would it be in that format?

We will treat spoilery MCU nominations the same as other nominations. If someone wants to avoid spoilers, they can just check if their own nominations got approved, without visiting the larger tagset.

You might have wandering tags if you don't disambiguate ships in canons likes DC, Marvel, Star Wars, Tolkien, and other canons that has different versions.

You just approved my nomination for "Woke Up Married" as Accidental Marriage. I don't want just any old accidental marriage, if you don't mind. I want woke up married. Surely it matches the theme.

Sorry about that! AO3 had put (Accidental Marriage) next to it, but I thought that by not editing the nomination it would keep what you had entered instead of syncing it to Accidental Marriage which was nominated and listed separately. When I am back on a computer I will go in and see how to fix it.

Thanks! I think it's an AO3 bug that sometimes it doesn't listen to your selection even though other times it does.

You can edit the tag into the tagset?

Hmm good to know. We will try testing it or at least double-checking things the next time that () selection pops up.

Editing it into the tagset worked. I don't think it'll display in your list of nominations, but it does show up in the set now.

Arthur Curry/Namor the Sub-Mariner is in a bunch of DC/Marvel fandoms. It is a crossover. Arthur is a DC character and Namor is Marvel. Arthur has technically appeared in Marvel published comics during crossover events between the two, but Namor has never appeared in the DCEU.
