Just Married 2021 Schedule and Tagset Poll

Just Married is a marriage-themed multifandom exchange for marriage tropes of all kinds: convenient, accidental, undercover, arranged, forced, and so on.

Participants will write a complete fic of least 1500 words and receive a complete fic of at least 1500 words in return. Fanart is also accepted in this exchange, and the minimum requirement is clean lineart on unlined paper. Podfic requirements are a complete recording of 1500 words or 10 minutes in length. Matching will be done on fandom, relationship and marriage trope freeforms.

2021 Organized Freeforms Poll

Last year we held a poll about the possibility of organizing freeform tags with broad category prefixes, and the results were mostly in favor. After trying out the organized freeforms during the flash round we got feedback and made some changes, and would like to poll everyone again for the upcoming round:

• Here is the tagset with last year's freeforms brought over exactly (no modifications)
• Here is the organized tagset (new nominations will be accepted - nominators will need to include categories with tag nominations)

Which tagset would you like us to use for 2021? Please vote at the poll here, and if you have additional questions or concerns, do let us know in the comments.

When creating the organized tagset, some tags were re-worded, so you may not find your exact tag. Before re-nominating tags, we suggest browsing the broad category or ctrl-fing for keywords. The organized tagset will still take new nominations, and we will ask nominators to include categories with any new tags.

I can't see anything in the organized tagset :((

This is the message I find instead: "The moderators have chosen not to make the tags in this set visible to the public (possibly while nominations are underway)."

How should we vote on something that we can't see and compare to the old one?

I personally prefer the more freewheeling, less restrictive nature of the previous tagset - it's a big part of why I like freeform exchanges, having a lot of flexibility in what kind of tags can be nominated and how they're formatted, being able to get a lot of shades of nuance in and so forth - but I do get that it's easier to sort through the organized tags, and appreciate how much work must have gone into organizing them!

To use, please go to File -> Download or File -> Make a Copy. From there, you can click on a category to expand it and see all the freeforms within that category.

Pst, mods - I'm trying to go in to edit prompts into my request, but when I try to do so I'm told "Potential matches will need to be regenerated after your edits." The exchange is still open til the 6th for sign-ups, right? I'm not screwing up anything by editing my sign-up, am I?

Hello! The message is safe to ignore - go ahead and edit your signup.

(For context, we had a tagset bug a while ago and did some backend work to make sure it was fixed, causing this message. It doesn't affect sign-ups or matching.)

"Works revealed: August 15" . It looks like date was set too late within Ao3 framework (after deadline passed) and the works remain unrevealed to this day.
