Pinch Hitter Prompt Post

Pinch hitters help keep the exchange world going! Many thanks to those that have already signed onto creating for a request this year. We can hear those wedding bells already. Maybe also some mysterious crashing noises and a getaway car backfiring. Who can say.

For our pinch hitters, we're making this post a place to leave some prompts of your own - if you would like to! This post is also open to pinch hitters from past years: if you pinch hit for Just Married in a year when you did not sign up, and have not received a Just Married pinch hitter treat in past years, you're very welcome to leave prompts too.

Please use the 2024 tagset for your requests. In a comment or link to a letter, please list:

- Your AO3 handle (if you claimed the PH under a different name, please mention it or DM it to justmarriedmod)
- Requested fandoms
- The relationship(s), freeforms, and media type(s) you would like for each fandom
- Any DNWs
- Any optional details you'd like to include for each request

Pretty much anything falling under the categories of Dimension Travel, Magic, Soul Bonds, or otherwise leaning into the fantastical/magical aspects of canon would be great. I have also read and enjoy the books so incorporating that canon is welcome but obviously not required!
"Bard Immortalizes Wedding in Ballad to Couple's Delight or Embarrassment"--this tag would be hilarious for any of these ships.

Ship-specific prompts:

Moiraine/Siuan:
Anniversary: 25th or 50th
Established marriage: lesbian in setting without gay marriage thinks of partner as her wife, other people in setting without gay marriage calling them wives
Forbidden Marriage: considering themselves married even if in the eyes of the law they're not, married in every way except legally
Marriage laws: marrying in a different culture to get around the laws of your own
Wedding: first legal gay wedding

There's lots of potential for different worldbuilding aspects here. Anything from "same-sex marriage be totally standard and common in Tar Valon, and Aes Sedai routinely celebrate long-lived anniversaries with each other" to "there's no such thing" or "it's legal some places but not others so we'll have to travel" or "it's fine for normal sisters, just forbidden for the Amyrlin Seat" would be cool. Or maybe an AU where Moiraine is pressured into being a princess of Cairhien and has to deal with the culture clash that ensues from marrying a fisherwoman from Tear?

Egwene/Nynaeve:
Established marriage: married with a lot of cats
Established marriage: taking care of spouse with chronic pain
Wedding night: no sex just tired snuggles
Wedding planning: asking best friend to be best man or maid of honor
Wedding reception: old friend group reunites during marriage between two members

Book Egwene has a bout of (magically-induced) migraines at one point, and I think it's cute to contrast her workaholism with Nynaeve being the ultimate healer. Also, anything involving the rest of the Emond's Field gang getting in on wedding shenanigans (especially against the chaos of the end of the age!) would be neat.

Nynaeve/Lan:
Celebrity Marriage: Epistolary media coverage/social media reaction/etc.
Royal marriage: court reaction to unexpected marriage
Royal marriage: it's the wedding event of the century
Soul bonds
Wedding ceremony--culture's first
Widowed: first wedding anniversary since spouse's death

Okay so...let's just say hypothetically speaking they both survive and see Malkier resurrected, the country has to deal with "we barely existed and now we have a new queen." Or anything involving an Aes Sedai/Warder bond as it interacts with marriage. Or Lan is married to Nynaeve but still wants to keep being Moiraine's Warder!
